How to Get Started

Complete the Online Volunteer Application

Begin your journey by filling out our Volunteer Application Form. Be sure to indicate that you are seeking school credit, and provide details about your school’s requirements.

Note: If you are a past or current client of Harvest House, please contact our volunteer coordinator before completing the application.

Background Check

All volunteers aged 18 and over are required to undergo a background check to ensure the safety and well-being of our community. This step is essential for maintaining a secure environment for everyone involved.

Connect With Our Team

Once you’ve submitted your application, a staff member will contact you to discuss your interests and schedule. We will work with you to identify suitable volunteer opportunities that align with your school’s requirements and your personal interests.

Complete Your Volunteer Hours

Show up for your scheduled volunteer hours and immerse yourself in meaningful work. Whether you’re helping distribute food, organizing donations, or assisting with administrative tasks, your efforts will have a direct impact on those we serve.

Document Your Service

After completing your volunteer hours, we will provide the necessary documentation to confirm your service for school credit. This includes signing any forms required by your school and providing a summary of your contributions.
